      Edinburgh Jazz meets the unique ambience of Söderberg, the Swedish Cafè in the heart of Quartermile! 30th of September | Dave Toule Organ Trio Edinburgh-based jazz guitarist & singer Dave Toule and organist extraordinaire Huw Rees kick off Söderberg's new music season with an afternoon of swing, blues and latin grooves with a fresh new sound. 7th of October | BlueSwing Quartet Elegance is the distinctive feature of the BlueSwing Quartet, which exists within the fine line between jazz and blues. Vocalists John Hunt and William Young alternate on the notes played by Campbell Normand on the keyboard and Ed Kelly on the double bass. 14th of October | Smitten Bittersweet blend of minimalist pop and Americana blues, Smitten performs original music written and arranged by vocalist Nicole Smit and guitarist Charlie Wild. 21st of October | Neo Soul Quartet Neo Soul Quartet is a musical trip from New Orleans Swing of the 1930s to contemporary new soul and vintage pop via modern jazz. This new exciting project is the fruit of Ali Affleck's collaboration with the talented pianist and vocalist Naledi Herman and outstanding trombone player, Anoushka Nanguy. Ed Kelly on double bass. 28th of October | Emilie Boyd and Fergus McCreadie Trio Award-winning pianist Fergus McCreadie and vocalist Emilie Boyd stand out for technical ability and deep understanding of the jazz tradition, which results in a complex modern sound with a timeless repertoire.Their style ranges from straight-ahead standards to contemporary jazz. 4th of November | Rianna Walcott Trio  This Glasgow based trio brings an exuberant performance where classics become more powerful and blooming than ever. Rianna Walcott Trio is daringly glamour. 11th of November | Sun Juice Sun Juice is just the most captivating jazz trio you will come across in town! Amazingly original! 18th of November | Aki Remally, Fraser Urquhart and Ed Kelly Trio Soulful jazz music from classics to contemporary. Hugely inspired by Gil Scott-Heron's music.  25th of November | By June Swiss-French singer Prune Karlen and Scottish guitarist Jenny Clifford's repertoire explores funk and soul along with jazz arrangements of modern pop songs. 2nd of December | Melisa Kelly Duo Jazz and Blues in the vein of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Bessie Smith. Melisa Kelly's voice is as powerful as the music that inspires her. 9th of December | Colin Steel, Ross Milligan & Ed Kelly Trio Colin Steel on the trumpet, Ross Milligan on the guitar and Ed Kelly on the double bass, brought together for a virtuoso performance of Swing Jazz! 16th of December | Cat Loud Trio With Dave Toule on guitar and John Youngs on double bass, Cat Loud sings a repertoire of jazz standards and lesser known songs from the likes of Billie Holiday, Julie London, Chet Baker and Melody Gardot.  23rd of December | Ali Affleck & The Christmas Jazz Gang New Orleans Speakeasy Jazz ambassadress and "the queen of vintage" in Scotland, Ali Affleck brings the swing and trad jazz to our Christmas session.
